Set in park style gardens, the guest rooms are arranged in four 2-storey buildings, furnished in typical Sardinian style. There is a choice of Standard or Superior room, all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi, telephone, safe, minibar, laundry service and balcony or terrace with garden view.
The Superior rooms have been recently refurbished and offer extra services including bathrobe and slippers, 1 free stocked minibar, fruit bowl upon arrival, welcome drink, beach towel in the room, beach service (1 parasol + 2 sun loungers with minimum stay of 7 nights) and hotel gift.
There are Standard and Superior Family rooms (2 interconnecting rooms sleeping 4/5) with double room, communicating room with 2/3 beds, 1 shower room, 2 TVs and 2 balconies/terraces. Cots and meals for babies under 2 years are extra cost and paid locally.
Please note: There are some steps in all the guest rooms.
What dining & bar options are available?
The hotel has an air conditioned buffet style restaurant with outside terrace overlooking the Mediterranean gardens.
A rich buffet breakfast is served daily and for dinner there are 3 choices of typical Sardinian cuisine with antipasti buffet, daily homemade pastries and desserts. In high season (mid June – mid September) there is a fish and meat barbecue at dinner, as well as a children’s menu. Vegetarian and gluten-free dishes are available on request.
There is a large bar with live music in high season, TV room and pool room.
What facilities, activities & experiences are available?
There is an English speaking reception offering guests hotel and local information. A pathway leads through the gardens and through a pedestrian underground passage to the beach (300m) bar and restaurant (extra cost), sunbeds and parasols available (extra cost for Standard rooms €105 per room/week, €140 in August) and semi-Olympic seawater swimming pool (25m x 12m).
Guests must purchase a Club Card (mandatory 04/06 – 25/09, €35 per person per week, 4 years+, paid locally) which covers use of the pool and all the sports activities in high season including tennis, five-a-side football, windsurf, canoe, bicycles (with children’s seat available), beach volley, aqua gym, aerobics plus mini club, animation and shuttle bus.
From the beach there is also boat rental, sailing courses and a PADI Dive Centre (all extra cost).
The hotel operates a shuttle bus to La Pelosa Beach (1km) in high season.
Is the hotel family-friendly?
There is a children’s play park in the hotel gardens and also at the beach. The mini club is for 4-12 years (included with the Club Card, 01/06-22/09, supplement, paid locally) and the animation team organise day and evening activities for the adults and the children.
Where is the resort located?
Stintino is situated right at the tip of the north west coastline known for its stunning La Pelosa beach where translucent turquoise sea extends out to rocky offshore islands of Piana and Asinara. Torre della Pelosa, built in 1578, is a lookout tower on a nearby islet.
Stintino has other fine-sand beaches including Pelosetta, Spiaggia Pazzona, Ezzi Mannu Beach and Spiaggia Le Saline sandy and shingle national park beach (1km south of the town).
Boat and 4x4 excursions go from Stintino to the island of Asinara, now a nature and marine national park with picturesque beaches and native small albino donkeys.
The small town of Stintino (2.5km south of the hotel) is between two harbours and the road around the promontory provides a good stroll and a selection of bars and restaurants.
The Museo della Tonnara has multimedia exhibits, photos and boat replicas exploring the local tuna fishing heritage.

The hotel has traditional charm and a lovely garden leading to a yacht club area with large pool, sunbathing areas, bar and restaurant and watersports from the little marina with boat trips to the island of Asinara. Please note that guests must purchase the Club Card for use of the pool, activities and mini club.
For beach enthusiasts, this area has really beautiful coastline and very turquoise sea ideal for snorkelling, swimming and beach combing.
There is a hotel shuttle to Pelosa beach, but car hire recommended to access Stintino and explore the local area.
