Built on one level, Villa Santa Barbara (sleeping 4/6) is attractively decorated and furnished in modern Sardinian style. There are 2 bedrooms (double or twin), 2 shower rooms and a sofa bed in the living area (suitable for children up to 10 years) in the open plan kitchen/diner with table and chairs, TV, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and iron and ironing board.
What facilities & services are available?
A driveway leads to a parking area and gardens that surround the villa overlooking the pool with an outside rock shower. The veranda has a wooden table and benches and barbecue area. There are sunbeds and deckchairs to relax around the pool. Pool towels are available, free of charge for guests use.
The villa is situated between the villages of La Corte and Campanedda for provisions and the closest beach is at Argentiera.

Where is the villa located and how far is the beach?
Villa Santa Barbara is situated 4km from the small town of La Corte and a similar distance from Campanedda. The closest beach of Argentiera is 14km and the larger beach of Porto Ferro is 17km away. It is 28km to the stunning La Pelosa beach at Stintino which is well worth visiting.
The larger city of Porto Torres is 20km to the north and Alghero is 25km to the south, a vibrant Catalan town steeped in history and has something to offer everyone. There is a wide variety of shops, restaurants, pizzerias and gelaterias situated around the historic old town with ramparts, character cobbled streets and piazzas. The shops offer the best selection on the island and there is a weekly market with fresh local produce.
The town is fronted by a 5km long white sandy beach with clear sea, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. There is a port offering boat hire and boat trips to Capo Caccia and Neptune’s Caves.

This private villa is ideal to get away from it all in the Sardinian countryside, surrounded by 80 hectares of olive groves due to produce a million litres of olive oil per year!
The villa is small but well equipped, the kitchen a particular feature. The pool is not fenced so we do not recommend it for young children. The villa is in a rural location but with a car guests can visit some of beautiful beaches in north west Sardinia including La Pelosa in Stintino.
Car hire essential for shopping, accessing the beach, towns and exploring the local area. Due to the rural setting, you may encounter friendly animals like dogs and cats.

This hotel has been skilfully designed to take advantage of its sheltered position. The guest rooms and suites are set behind the reception, piano bar and restaurant terraces which lead down to the pool and secluded rocky cove with sun decks.

Fabulous modern villa literally in the middle of nowhere which is exactly what we wanted and needed. The swimming pool was massive and larger than most hotels we have stayed at and it was just for us. The poolside had loungers, deckchairs and a parasol. The pool was clean and maintained daily. The villa had a shaded area with table and benches to sit on. Perfect for evening dining. Inside the villa the beds were comfortable - a first for us in Italy. There were two large bathrooms, a fabulous kitchen area with dining table and loads of utensils and storage.
