Hotel La Funtana, Adult Only

La Funtana is an attractive hotel designed in Sardinian style, set around the swimming pool with sun terrace and sunbeds. There are 53 spacious rooms, some sleeping up to 4, which are attractively furnished and accessed via stairs and lift. All the rooms have en suite shower room, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV (news channels only in English), WiFi, minibar, safe and hairdryer.

There is a choice of room types: 
Classic double/twin or triple room with large window overlooking the garden.
Pool Classic double/twin room with large window and pool view.
Balcony double/twin or triple room with furnished balcony and garden view.
Connecting Balcony (sleeping up to 4) double/twin room and living room with 2 single beds with furnished balcony and rear garden view.
Superior Pool Balcony double/twin room with furnished balcony overlooking the pool, kettle with a selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas, indoor garage parking. 
Junior Suite double room with small lounge area and furnished balcony overlooking the pool, kettle with selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas, indoor garage parking. 
Pool Terrace Deluxe double/twin room on the first floor with large 13m2 terrace overlooking the pool, kettle with a selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas, indoor garage parking.

Please note: Children under 14 years old are not permitted.

The hotel has an attractive foyer with 24 hour reception with WiFi, spacious bar and lounge area with board games area leading out to the pool and a snack bar offering a continental sweet and savoury buffet breakfast. Room service is available (on request, extra cost).

La Colombaia Pool Bar offers drinks, snacks, light lunches or aperitifs. The hotel can recommend and book local resturants for eating out.

The hotel has a gym with pool view and 'Technogym' equipment and there are acquagym lessons with an instructor (15/06-31/08).

Excursions can be arranged by the reception (extra cost) including boat trips to La Maddalena or Corsica archipelagos, trekking, diving, kayaking, horse riding and boat hire.

Hotel La Funtana has always proved very popular with our guests being a good value for money bed and breakfast with modern accommodation and, in my opinion, very well situated for a touring or beach holiday.

Santa Teresa has a central piazza, ideal for watching the world go by whilst enjoying a delicious gelato (ice cream) or an authentic espresso or cappuccino.

The town beach (reached via a steep hill) and the beaches at Capo Testa (approximately 3km) are some of the best on the island. There are great coastal walks with views to Corsica and the Valley of the Moon with amazing rock formations to explore. 

The ferry to Corsica leaves from the port (taking approximately 50 mins) as do various boat trips to La Maddalena islands, which are well worth visiting.

Car hire is recommended to get around, for eating out and to see more of this beautiful part of Sardinia.
