Park Hotel & Spa Cala di Lepre

A buffet breakfast is served in either Le Terrazze (for Parco guests) or L'Arcipelago (for Golfo guests). Dinner is served in L'Arcipelago restaurant with an elaborate buffet featuring themed evenings and a huge choice of Italian and local Sardinian cuisine accompanied by a good selection of wines (extra cost). Alternatively, a table can be booked at the romantic Le Terrazze restaurant (supplement and reservation required) serving themed specialities with table service or the poolside pizzeria (reservation required), restaurants open at the management's discretion.

Brunch Mediterraneo® (for guests on full board or extra cost) a light lunch buffet available at L'Arcipelago Restaurant (1pm-2.30pm) with appetisers, first courses and a wide selection of salads, local cheeses and fruits. Alternatively, at the bar by the swimming pool offers a lunch menu (extra cost) including grilled specialities, salads, sandwiches and ice creams.

There is a spacious lounge with al fresco terrace and American bar serving drinks and cocktails located close to the reception with live music in the evenings.

Brunch Around Option: For guests with full board available at Resort Valle dell'Erica (€12pp supplement, excludes August), Hotel Marinedda and Resort & Spa Le Dune. See Taste Sardinia > Alternatively brunch can be substituted with a packed lunch. Reservation must be made at hotel.

On request at the hotel, guests on half board can replace dinner with Brunch Mediterraneo®.

Situated in the main hotel building is the 24 hour reception and free WiFi is available in the hotel rooms, reception area, by the pool and in Le Terrazze area.

Paths lead down the hillside from the main hotel building to the spa centre, five-a-side football pitch, archery, tennis courts, Padel with floodlighting, children’s club and play area, then onto the large seawater swimming pool with children's pool and terrace surround with sunbeds, poolside snack bar for lunch (extra cost) and panoramic sea view terrace.

From here there is a narrow coastal path to a wooden deck with complimentary sun matresses and onto the beach with kayaks (extra cost), beach volleyball and sun loungers/parasols to hire: From 27 June -  4 September €32 first row, €24 second row, €20 from third row; Other periods €24 first row, €18 second row, €14 from third row (full day, subject to availability, not pre-bookable).

A smaller second freshwater pool is located in the Parco area, surrounded by a terrace with sun loungers.

The hotel offers a scheduled shuttle service to the local town of Palau (3km) once a day Sunday-Friday (upon reservation, extra cost).

Excursions include boat trips to the Maddalena islands and Corsica, scuba diving and sport fishing trips and there is  boat hire available locally and golf driving range with 9-hole pitch and putt (book locally, all extra cost).

A pre-payment card for drinks and sundries is available from reception for use in the resort.

There is free medical assistance at scheduled times (medical visits and certificates extra cost).

Babysitting service is available on request (extra cost).

Due to the panoramic hillside position of the resort, the steep slopes may be tiring for those with walking difficulties or young children but there is a shuttle service connecting the pool with the accommodation and main hotel building.

Situated in the grounds of the hotel, D’Ea Marina Spa offers fabulous open air multifunction cold and heated seawater spa pools, cardio fitness room, Turkish bath, sauna, gazebo for open air massage, beauty centre and relax area.

Entrance (allowed from 14 years old): €30pp for about 2 hours with free use of multifunction outdoor pools, jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, gym and relax area. 

Please note: Entrance to the spa centre is extra cost and open in the afternoons 6 days a week. A health self-certification is required to have treatments and to use the spa facilities. Specific programmes for pregnant ladies (some treatments might be excluded). Access only for 14 years+ if accompanied by parents or with a written parental consent. Opening is at discretion of the Management.

Leprottoland is an exclusive indoor and outdoor playground for children. There are Mini and Junior Clubs for children aged between 3 and 14 years to come and go from 9:30am-6.30pm and there is a fully equipped nursery open at scheduled times with a bottle service and baby drinks and foodstuffs available.

The Mini Club has a playpark and shaded area and the Junior Club has a range of activities including tennis, beach volleyball, 5-a-side football, archery and dancing (limited activities on Saturdays).

Children aged 3-14 years may have lunch (on request, supplement for children on half board), dinner and after dinner time with the child carers/entertainers.

Pushchair hire is available for guests from the reception (€24 per stay, paid locally, deposit on collection, request at time of booking). There are highchairs in the restaurant.

1 free entrance per person (on reservation) to the D’Ea Marina SPA’ Wellness Centre with use of the Thalasso pools, gym and relax area, a welcome bottle in the room, a Delphina gift and a typical Sardinian silver wedding ring for the couple.

Please note: Offer applies to stays within 12 months of the wedding (for anniversaries within one month of the original date and within a year for silver and golden weddings). For defacto couples the date of formalisation will be accepted. A document indicating the date of marriage or formalisation will need to be shown at the hotel. Available for the couple only. Minimum stay 7 nights.

 

The vibrant town and port of Palau is just 3km from the resort where there is a selection of shops, weekly market, restaurants and ferries to the island of La Maddalena.

Close to the hotel is Capo d’Orso (‘Bear Rock’), a strategic landmark of the area, which can be reached by a steep path for panoramic views to the Costa Smeralda,  the Maddalena Islands and to Corsica on a clear day.
