The 66 apartments are simply furnished and have 1 or 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. All apartments have a balcony/terrace with garden or pool views, shower room, basic kitchenette (equipped with a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, sink, utensils and crockery), telephone, TV, WiFi, air conditioning and small safe.
1 Bedroom Apartment (sleep 4/5) double/twin bedroom and separate lounge with a sofa bed and up to 2 extra beds, a kitchenette plus a furnished balcony
2 Bedroom Apartment (sleep 5/6) two bedrooms (one double/twin and one with bunk beds and room for an extra bed), separate lounge with 1 sofa bed and a kitchenette plus a furnished balcony
Although older style, the 120 hotel rooms are clean, comfortable, light and airy and well maintained (see Hotel Oasis).
Both the hotel and apartments have their own swimming pools, sun terrace, bars and gardens.
What facilities, activities & experiences are available?
The residence has a freshwater swimming pool and children's pool with a poolside pizzeria open for 10am-6pm (extra cost), guests also have use of the pools at the Hotel Oasis (one suitable for children). The hotel has its own restaurant serving buffet breakfast and dinner. Please note: the residence poolside pizzeria will be open at the discretion of the management but if it is not open, the snack bar by hotel pool will be open from 12 noon to 2:30pm.
There is a tennis court (floodlights extra cost), mini golf, games room, playground, mini market and also children’s entertainment and occasional discos in high season. The multi-lingual reception staff are able to assist with bike hire and the reception facilities are available 24 hours. The residence has a self service laundry area.
The beach is just a 5 minute walk away through the pine trees and sand dunes where you will find a beach bar with sunbeds, parasols and pedaloes to hire.

Where is the resort located?
The vibrant town of Alghero is approximately 3km from the Oasis, which is about a 30 minute walk along the beach or there is a regular bus service along the Lido from outside the hotel. Buzzing with life all year round, Alghero has excellent shops, café bars, restaurants and a weekly market.
The charming old town with fortified walls, ramparts and lookout towers has a Spanish/Catalan influence and interesting history to discover. There are daily boat trips to Capo Caccia and Neptune’s Caves from the port and the long white sandy beach stretches all the way to Fertilia, approximately 5km.

In my experience, the Oasis provides all the ingredients for a successful holiday, for families or couples alike and is very good value for money. Not only does it provide many facilities, it is also close to the beach and town.
Surrounded by attractive gardens, the Oasis is a well-established and well-kept hotel and residence with a great holiday atmosphere.
Car hire is not necessary although a couple of day trips or excursions would be recommended to see more of Sardinia.
