What types of rooms & suites are available?

There are just 11 guest rooms, all spacious Junior Suites (30m2) with either a terrace or a patio overlooking the pretty Mediterranean gardens and the swimming pool.

All the rooms, elegantly furnished in typical Sardinian style, are on the ground or first floor and have a sitting area, en suite shower room, air conditioning/heating, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, minibar and safe.

What facilities, activities & experiences are available?

In the lounge area, a buffet breakfast is served with a selection of Sardinian sweet and savoury delicacies. There is an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and garden where, when weather permits, breakfasts are served. A concierge desk is available from the reception desk.

The L’Isola dei Sapori Wine Bar features an indoor bar lounge and patio overlooking then gardens. It offers guests the opportunity to sample specially made dishes prepared with fresh local Sardinian ingredients alongside tasting prestigious Sardinian wines. The bar also serves delightful cocktails, fresh juices, and a wide selection of teas, herbal teas, infusions, and traditional local desserts. Please note that the Relais does not serve a traditional restaurant dinner.

In the gardens, there is a lovely swimming pool with terrace and sunbeds. Just 1km away, Porto Taverna beach with fine white sand and crystal clear water has sunbeds, parasols, pedaloes and Ribs to hire.

The small town of Porto San Paolo is just 2.5km where it is possible to take a boat trip out to Isola Tavolara which has a protected marine area, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

Where is the resort located?

The Fenicottero Rosa Hotel is situated 15km south of Olbia on the north east coast of Sardinia at Porto Taverna and just 10km north of San Teodoro. Porto Taverna is one of the most beautiful beaches in the area and the stunning bay overlooks the islands of Tavolara and Molara.

Only a short distance away lie the beautiful beaches of Cala Coda Cavallo, Cala Brandinchi, Lu Impostu and la Cinta to the south and to the north towards Olbia, the beaches of Costa Corallina, Porto Istana, Capo Ceraso, Li Cuncheddi and Le Saline. Just 9km away is the Puntaldia Golf Course.

This hotel has been skilfully designed to take advantage of its sheltered position. The guest rooms and suites are set behind the reception, piano bar and restaurant terraces which lead down to the pool and secluded rocky cove with sun decks.
